I'm so glad you're checking out my web site, and I truly hope you love what you see. Because I love what I do, and I love so many of the people for whom I do it!
My tagline is this....Simple. Elegant. Art. That defines my photography so much, and also defines me. I mean, nothing elegant about me!!...But I love elegance and style. I love quality. Not flashy, over-the-top, but quiet, simple class.
If you are looking for someone to "take your picture", I'm not the girl for you. But if you want portraits to enhance your home, and enhance your life....portraits that truly portray and define who you are....then call me. I want to work with you. I want to make your idea become reality, and to make your life a little richer.
I have been a professional photographer for almost eight years. I am a member in good standing
with the Professional Photographers Assoc. (national) and the Topeka PPA. I will be a member of the Kansas PPA as soon as I renew my lapsed membership, and I am also the Secretary/Treasurer of the Topeka PPA, for the 5th year. Because no one else will run, and I finally know what I'm doing...so why get rid of me now? I am also studying to become a Certified Professional Photographer. I'll keep you posted on that (it's so stringent, they allow three years to pass the test--I hope to do it in much less time, but we'll see).
I have lived in Topeka most of my life, and now live in the home I grew up in. I have one fiance, three daughters, one son-in-law, and one phenomal grandson. And one dog. And one cat, after I lose one fiance and gain one husband.
I also have one God, who gives me one hope, but it's a biggie.
I believe that God created each ONE of us personally unique, and my skills as a photographer have been such a blessing to me, for that reason. Because my goal each day is to please Him, to do well with and for my children, and to use this tool I have to enrich others, by touching their lives and helping them to see how beautiful they are. Wow, what an awesome way to make a living!
